Fontane bianche translates to white fountain. it is an unusual blend of catarratto 85% and zibibbo 15%. catarratto is the most widespread grape variety in sicily. this type of wine was usually consumed within a year from production. low yields in from hilly terrain has the capacity for aging. the zibibbo grapes are harvested early to retain the freshness and floral aromas.
