The 2020 Barolo is a classy, elegant wine, benefitting from the addition of the best lots of Cerretta, which was not bottled in 2020. Vineyard sites are Sarmassa, Pernanno, Bricco Ambrogio and Cerretta. The results are vinous and fruit-forward with plump cherry and blackberry over a textured, full-bodied approach. maceration on the skins for approx. 4/5 days in rotary fermenters with temperature control, aging in used French barrique for 24 months.
