The 2019 Malbec Salvaje contains a 10% dash of Syrah from the Uco Valley and was aged for 22 months in used barrels. Purple in the glass. The nose offers notes of violet, fresh plum, hints of cherry and pinches of herb over a delicate bed of wood. In the mouth, it’s voluminous with very refined tannins that allow the flavors to build as part of a relaxed structure into the long and rewarding finish.
