From La Consulta, Uco Valley, the 2019 Malbec Gran Reserve was fermented and aged for 24 months in Mercury barrels. An intense purple hue. The aromas feature ripe plum, cedar and gentle cherry notes along with hints of violet, plum and mint as part of a delicate, nuanced profile. The quality of the grape and nature of the aging process have dialed up the intricacy, resulting in a refined texture and juicy flow before the prolix finish. This is a wine of sustained, subtle flavor and depth.
