The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of ripe wild berries, cassis and small notes of wild red berries, cherry bigarreau associated with discreet hints of violet, thyme, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, a mineral frame, suavity, finesse, a good volume, a beautiful definition, gourmandise, juiciness as well as a beautiful precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed/ripe raspberry and small notes of fleshy blackberry combined with touches of crushed / juicy red berries, blueberry, licorice, black olive, blond tobacco as well as very discreet hints of clove (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant, structuring and a bit firm / young. Good length.
