This wine shows impressive concentration and power, with pronounced aromas of apricot, quince and ripe peach, although there is a lemon peel edge and some mineral, flinty reductive notes. The texture is super-concentrated and shows surprisingly fresh acidity and structure despite the drought conditions of 2020. This wine is produced from a vineyard block of over 5ha on shale soils, planted in the 1970s, whose old vines, shale soils and high elevation combine to deliver excellent results.
