Luminous blackberries, plums and cocoa powder, with mineral and balsamic undertones, extending to a full-bodied and flavorful palate with plenty of mealy tannins. Concentrated, yet juicy. Impressive tannin quality here. 100% tinto fino. Better after 2023.

There’s a little more concentration, tannin and rusticity in the 2019 Domino de Atauta, reflecting the conditions of a warmer and drier year. This selection matured for 16 months in French oak barrels, 15% of them new, followed by a couple of months in oak vats to let the wine settle before being bottled. 45,528 bottles and 900 magnums produced. It was bottled in September 2021.
