This fortified wine from Tarragona includes old stocks of red and white Garnacha, bolstered up to 20% alcohol. It's woody on the nose and power-charged on the palate, with rich and creamy but also charred flavors. Chocolate and burnt wood notes turn more smoky and bitter on the hot, fiery finish.
