Scents of lavender, mint, sage and sweet tobacco add nuance as the wine continues to open up. The 2005 is not a huge Flaccianello, rather it is a wine that speaks to understatement within the context of the year. This is the best showing yet from the 2005, a wine that has continued to grow since it was first released."
