The Riesling Schulz Ronco del Gelso is an a typical white wine, a good test by Giorgio Badin who wanted to try his hand at this grape variety from Alsace and Moselle which is not at all widespread on the lands of the Collio and Isonzo areas of Gorizia where the winery is located. The result is truly remarkable, an intense and long-lived Riesling, also thanks to the brief drying of the grapes in the drying room. On the nose it offers fruity hints with typical notes of hydrocarbons. On the palate it is aromatic, full, fresh. In addition to pairing perfectly with fish-based dishes, the acidic streak that helps to clean the mouth makes it particularly suitable for first courses seasoned with melted butter.
