The 2021 Gigondas Hominis Fides boasts huge black cherry and blackberry fruit, accented by hints of peppery spice, cedar and vanilla. It's full-bodied, rich and concentrated, with a long, velvety finish. There's really no hint of this being a difficult year in the Southern Rhône, testament to the hard work put into the vineyards by proprietor Louis Barruol and his team.
