This too is overtly sauvage with plenty of earth, underbrush, forest floor and humus elements adding breadth to the primarily dark berry fruit scents. There is outstanding richness to the big-bodied and intense flavors that possess excellent mid-palate concentration as well as a subtle minerality that adds a sense of lift to the palate coating and hugely long finale. This is a big and quite firmly structured Corton and this too will need ample amounts of cellar time so once again, lots of patience will be required.
