50% whole bunch vinification, 25% new wood. Medium deep crimson, a lighter bouquet than the Bourgogne, but pretty. Still quite ripe with a touch of liquorice alongside crushed strawberry. The stems give a little herbaceous twist though otherwise the fruit is prettily perfumed. Medium length, few tannins and just the right acidity.
