On the palate, the Clos de Mouches is very round, fine and elegant. The terroir provides notes of red fruit, ranging in the sweetness of strawberry to an almost tart raspberry note. While the wine can be enjoyed in its youth, the Clos des Mouches famously rewards patience as the wine easily ages for 20 or more years.
