The vineyards producing this Côte de Nuits Villages are located near Clos de la Maréchale, a famous Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru. The first impression is of abundance of ripe fruit, both on the nose and palate. Velvety and soft, albeit well structured this is a terrific wine, it would make a brilliant introduction to anyone new to red Burgundy.
