This highly regarded Sonoma County producer sets its sights on Oregon, sourcing the grapes from a family-owned vineyard in the new Mount Pisgah AVA. Smooth and supple, it seamlessly marries lush barrel flavors of mocha and caramel to rich fruit flavors that range from tart raspberry to pie cherry, with highlights of chocolate-covered orange peel. Immensely appealing right out of the bottle, this wine has the stuffing to age nicely for another half decade or longer.
