The 2022 Assyrtiko is unoaked, very dry and comes in at 13.2% alcohol. Lean and crisp, this does express its grape to some degree, but the most notable feature is the burst of acidity. In its youth, it is a very sharp Assyrtiko that sometimes made me wonder if it could use a bit more ripeness. It is still going to make a fine summer drink, and it should be a refreshing white perfect for sipping on the porch. It is easier to think of it as a nice fresh white than a great Assyrtiko, though. It should hold well for several years, likely most of the decade, but to preserve its exuberance, this probably should be drunk young.
