The Vintage of the Alice Block produced a very polished wine that has a power to it as well. Although we picked slightly earlier than usual, the wine turned out fantastic. It has flavors of black currants, chocolate, and hazelnut and anise. It’s full-bodied with silky tannins and a long, flavorful finish. The texture and flavors stays and linger for a long time. As with all the Alice Block wines, this will age for years but is drinking well right now.
