The 2021 Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat Les Quarts, which comes from the Bret's prized plots of 50-80 years old east-facing vines, has a beautifully-defined bouquet with light estuarine/oyster shell scents percolating through the malic fruit. The palate is very well balanced with plenty of substance (more than the preceding Longeays), fanning out wonderfully on the finish.
