A full purple, heady at 13.8%, with a little new wood and an aspect of the nose where the oak is rather dominating, but no problem in the mouth with a weight of generous dark fruit covering the tannins behind. Good length as well. The nose should settle down and the finer qualities of this Corton assert themselves. Drink from 2030-2037.
