Opaque appearance with a dark purple and ruby core, lots of staining to the tears with a powerful fruit-led bouquet. Aromas of black currants and blue fruits, there’s a natural soft black pepper, some milk chocolate spice then purple flowers and fruits. Even with no oak this wine packs a punch, flavours of blue and black fruits, plenty of fruit tannins and a back bone of acidity. Delicious and juicy, bright and fresh, lengthy and well made. Best drinking from day of purchase and through 2026.
