About This Wine

From Mauro Veglio, the celebrated La Morra estate, this Riserva comes from Rocche dell'Annunziata — one of the most sought-after Menzioni Geografiche of La Morra. Its soils of limestone and grey marl alternating with sandy substrates yield a Barolo of intense, complex aromatics, important structure and a marked tannic texture. Aged at length in large French oak casks in the estate's low-intervention style.
